HSLDA is having a Servant Leadership Award for homeschooled teenagers across the country. The nomination period is from April 1, 2023, through April 30, 2023. Anyone can nominate a homeschooler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Servant Leadership Award is for homeschooled teens who reach out and help their community. The award also highlights the teenager’s leadership and initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the time of nomination, the teenager being nominated must be between 13 and 19 years old; they must be currently homeschooled; and they must have been homeschooled since the start of the current school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The student’s service must reflect several things. First, their community service must have been performed since May of last year. Second, the community service must demonstrate initiative and\/or leadership on the part of the student. Lastly, the community service made a sustainable, meaningful impact on people\u2019s lives, especially those experiencing difficult living conditions or situations<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nNominate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
