Families for Home Education\u00a0opposes<\/strong>\u00a0lowering the compulsory attendance age. This would limit a home school parent\u2019s ability and freedom to choose when their child is ready to begin school.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n HB 2125<\/strong><\/a>, sponsored by Rep. Ian Mackey, changes the compulsory attendance age from 7 years old to 5 years old.
