At the beginning of May, Aaron Shafer died leaving behind his wife Faith and their four kids. A benefit car wash is being held on June 3rd for the Shafer family.

Where: The Southern Bank in Alton.

When: Saturday, June 3rd, between noon and 3:00 pm.

Who: Local homeschoolers are organizing this car wash.

Cost: The cost for a car wash is by donation.

Proceeds: All the proceeds will go to the Shafer family.

Any homeschooler who would like to help out at the car wash can just show up at the bank and help out for however long they are able, whether it be the three hours or just one hour. If anyone would like to help, volunteers can bring a bucket and sponge if they have any lying around.
