Does your child like to write? Or take pictures? This may be of interest to you. HSLDA just opened their summer contests. June 1 through August 1, they are taking entries for short stories and photography. These contests are Only open to homeschoolers. But don’t worry. Young children will not compete against teenagers. This is open for homeschoolers ages 7-19.

Each contest (photography and short story) is divided into three age brackets with a different theme per age. Monetary prizes will be awarded to each group. Each child can submit up to three entries. All funds accrued go to help homeschool families in difficult times.
